Six months ago, I started using the Woojer Mat as part of my meditation practice. Six months later, I can say that it has become much more than another piece of wellness equipment.
At Infinite Meditation, we are always exploring ways to take meditation beyond simply sitting still and listening to an audio track.
Our focus has always been on creating deeper, more immersive experiences through meditation, brainwave entrainment, binaural beats, isochronic tones, sound frequencies, and carefully designed soundscapes.
The Woojer Mat added another dimension to that experience:
Vibration.
Instead of experiencing meditation exclusively through the ears, the Woojer Mat allows sound to become something you can physically feel.
After six months of regular use, here's my honest review.
My Six-Month Experience With the Woojer Mat
When I first started using the Woojer Mat, I was interested in one simple question:
Could adding physical vibration to meditation actually make the experience feel different?
The answer, in my experience, is yes.
The Woojer Mat uses haptic transducers to convert low-frequency audio into physical vibrations. Instead of simply hearing bass frequencies, you can feel them moving through the surface beneath your body.
That creates an interesting distinction between traditional meditation and what I would describe as full-body meditation.
You're no longer experiencing the meditation exclusively as something happening in your head.
You can feel the sound.
And after six months, that physical component has become one of my favorite aspects of the system.
What Is the Woojer Mat?
The Woojer Mat is a compact vibroacoustic wellness mat designed to translate low-frequency sound into tactile vibration.
That means your meditation audio can potentially be experienced through multiple sensory pathways:
Sound → Hearing
Frequency → Auditory perception
Haptic vibration → Physical sensation
This is particularly interesting when using meditation audio that contains carefully designed low-frequency layers.
At Infinite Meditation, our audio already incorporates technologies such as binaural beats, isochronic tones, ambient soundscapes, and frequency-based layering. The Woojer Mat doesn't replace those technologies.
Instead, I view it as another layer.
And that is where things get interesting.
Six Months Later: What Has Changed?
The biggest difference I noticed wasn't necessarily during my first session.
It was after repeatedly incorporating the mat into my meditation routine.
The experience became familiar.
I learned how different audio tracks interacted with the vibration.
I discovered that certain types of music and meditation audio created much more interesting physical sensations than others.
And I began experimenting with different combinations.
For example:
- Binaural beat meditation + Woojer Mat
- Theta-frequency meditation + Woojer Mat
- Ambient soundscapes + Woojer Mat
- Nature sounds + Woojer Mat
- Deep relaxation tracks + Woojer Mat
- Brainwave entrainment + Woojer Mat
- Guided meditation + Woojer Mat
- Sound healing + Woojer Mat
The result is a meditation experience that feels considerably more immersive.
The Biggest Advantage: Meditation Becomes Physical
This is probably the most important part of my Woojer Mat review.
Traditional meditation is heavily auditory and mental.
You hear something.
You focus on your breathing.
You observe your thoughts.
You relax your body.
With a vibroacoustic system, there's another component:
You feel the sound.
That may sound like a small difference, but it can fundamentally change how you interact with your meditation environment.
Instead of simply listening to a meditation, you can become physically immersed in the soundscape.
For me, that makes the experience feel more grounded and embodied.
Using the Woojer Mat With Binaural Beats
This is where the Woojer Mat becomes particularly interesting for Infinite Meditation.
Our primary focus is brainwave entrainment meditation.
We create audio using techniques including binaural beats, isochronic tones, frequency layering, ambient textures, and natural soundscapes. Infinite Meditation's broader philosophy is that meditation doesn't have to remain confined to one sensory experience.
Binaural beats are primarily experienced through headphones because each ear receives a slightly different frequency.
The Woojer Mat provides something completely different.
It doesn't replace the headphones.
It complements them.
The headphones provide the stereo auditory experience while the mat provides the physical component.
Audio through the ears.
Vibration through the body.
That combination is what makes this setup so compelling.
Woojer Mat + Brainwave Entrainment
I've spent a significant amount of time experimenting with different frequencies and meditation states.
Theta frequencies are particularly interesting for deep meditation and relaxation.
Gamma frequencies can create a very different subjective experience.
Alpha can be useful for relaxed awareness.
And slower-frequency audio can create an entirely different atmosphere.
The Woojer Mat doesn't magically "force" your brain into a particular brainwave state.
That's an important distinction.
Instead, I think of it as an additional sensory layer that can make the meditation experience more immersive.
The audio does what the audio was designed to do.
The haptic system adds physical feedback.
Together, they create something different from either one by itself.
Two Free Woojer Apps
Another feature I really appreciate is that Woojer provides two free apps that work together with the MAT. The Woojer Device Manager handles the technical side of the experience, including device connectivity, settings, and firmware updates. The Woojer MAT/Wellness app is where the experience gets more interesting, providing a curated library of Woojer-optimized wellness and relaxation content designed to be felt through the MAT. I like having both options because I can either explore Woojer's own content library or use my own Infinite Meditation tracks through the MAT.
The Woojer Mat and Vibroacoustic Meditation
The concept of vibroacoustic meditation isn't entirely new.
What makes the Woojer system interesting is the accessibility.
You don't need a massive sound system or specialized meditation room.
You can create a highly immersive environment in your own home.
For me, this fits perfectly with the direction Infinite Meditation has been moving:
Taking meditation to the next level.
Meditation doesn't have to be limited to silence, a cushion, and closed eyes.
There is room for technology.
There is room for sound.
There is room for vibration.
There is room for light.
And there is room to experiment.
Six Months of Real-World Use: What I Like Most
After six months, these are the things that stand out the most to me.
1. The physical sensation
This is the obvious one.
Being able to physically feel certain elements of the music creates a completely different relationship with the audio.
2. Immersion
The mat makes meditation feel more immersive.
Instead of feeling like I'm simply listening to something, I feel surrounded by the experience.
3. Experimentation
For someone interested in meditation technology, the possibilities are huge.
Different frequencies and different recordings produce different sensations.
That makes experimentation part of the experience.
4. It complements headphones
I don't see the Woojer Mat as a replacement for quality headphones.
For binaural beats, I still recommend stereo headphones.
The mat simply adds another dimension.
5. It works beyond meditation
One of the unexpected advantages is versatility.
The Woojer Mat can be used with music, relaxation audio, movies, soundscapes, and other compatible audio.
That makes it more than a meditation accessory.
What I Don't Like About the Woojer Mat
No honest review should only talk about the positives.
The Woojer Mat isn't for everyone.
It takes some experimentation
You can't necessarily throw on any random audio track and expect an amazing experience.
The relationship between the recording, bass content, volume, and vibration level matters.
Some tracks simply work better than others.
More vibration isn't necessarily better
This is something I learned fairly quickly.
Turning the intensity all the way up doesn't automatically create a better meditation.
In fact, excessive vibration can become distracting.
I prefer a level where the vibration becomes part of the environment without completely dominating the experience.
It isn't a substitute for meditation practice
The technology can enhance the experience, but it isn't the practice itself.
The mat won't meditate for you.
You still have to breathe.
You still have to focus.
You still have to allow yourself to slow down.
The technology is a tool.
What you do with it is ultimately up to you.
My Favorite Way to Use the Woojer Mat
My preferred setup is simple.
I place the Woojer Mat underneath me, connect the mat to the appropriate audio source, and use high-quality stereo headphones for the meditation audio.
Then I select an Infinite Meditation track designed around relaxation, brainwave entrainment, or deeper meditative states.
The goal isn't to overwhelm the senses.
It's the opposite.
I want the sound and vibration to gradually disappear into the background of awareness.
At its best, the technology becomes something you stop thinking about.
You simply experience it.
Taking Meditation Out of Your Head and Into Your Body
If I had to summarize my six-month experience with one sentence, this would be it:
The Woojer Mat helped me experience meditation as something physical rather than purely mental.
That's what makes it so interesting.
We're accustomed to thinking of meditation as something happening in the mind.
But meditation involves the entire person.
Breathing.
Body awareness.
Sound.
Attention.
Environment.
Sensation.
The Woojer Mat adds another tool to that equation.
And for someone who is already interested in sound-based meditation and brainwave entrainment, I think that's where its greatest value lies.
Is the Woojer Mat Worth It After Six Months?
For me, yes.
Would I recommend it to someone who has never meditated before?
Possibly—but I wouldn't say you need it to begin meditating.
If you're completely new to meditation, start with the basics.
Learn to sit comfortably.
Learn to breathe.
Learn to observe your thoughts.
But if you've already developed a meditation practice and you're interested in sound healing, brainwave entrainment, binaural beats, vibroacoustic therapy, or immersive meditation technology, the Woojer Mat becomes much more interesting.
Six months of use has convinced me that it isn't simply a novelty.
It's a legitimate tool for creating a more immersive meditation environment.
It also pairs great with the Gateway Tapes from Monroe! If you know you know. See my video on it HERE: WOOJER MAT AND THE CIA GATEWAY TAPES
How I See the Future of Meditation
This is perhaps the most exciting part for me.
At Infinite Meditation, we aren't interested in simply repeating what has always been done.
We're interested in exploring what happens when different technologies are combined.
Imagine:
Brainwave entrainment + binaural beats + haptic vibration + light stimulation + immersive soundscapes.
Each system addresses a different sensory pathway.
And when carefully combined, meditation becomes a much more immersive experience.
I've experimented with combinations involving the Woojer Mat and other meditation technologies, and this is where I believe the future of meditation technology is heading.
Not replacing traditional meditation.
Expanding it.

Why Infinite Meditation Recommends the Woojer Mat
We don't recommend wellness technology simply because it's popular.
We look for tools that can actually complement the type of meditation we're creating.
Infinite Meditation is a veteran-owned company founded around brainwave entrainment meditation and holistic approaches to meditation, wellness, and personal development.
The Woojer Mat fits that philosophy because it doesn't require you to abandon traditional meditation.
It adds another layer.
Hear the meditation.
Feel the vibration.
Become immersed in the experience.
That's the difference.
Final Verdict: 6 Months With the Woojer Mat
After six months, my opinion has become much clearer.
The Woojer Mat isn't a magic device.
It isn't a replacement for meditation.
And it doesn't eliminate the need for intentional practice.
But as a meditation technology?
I think it's impressive.
The ability to transform low-frequency audio into physical sensation adds an entirely different dimension to sound-based meditation.
For people interested in brainwave entrainment, binaural beats, sound healing, vibroacoustic experiences, or simply exploring new ways to deepen their meditation environment, I think the Woojer Mat is absolutely worth investigating.
For me, the biggest takeaway after six months is simple:
Meditation doesn't have to stay in your head.
Sometimes you can hear it.
Sometimes you can feel it.
And sometimes the most interesting experiences happen when you do both.
Meditating Outdoors With the Woojer Power Bank
One of my favorite discoveries has been taking the Woojer Mat outside. With the Woojer Power Bank, I can bring the vibroacoustic experience with me instead of being tied to an outlet. Sitting beneath the trees, near the water, or simply somewhere quiet in nature adds another dimension to the practice. The combination of natural surroundings, immersive meditation audio, and gentle vibration creates a powerful way to disconnect from technology while actually using technology to reconnect with the present moment. For me, this is where the Woojer Mat really shines—meditation isn't limited to a room; you can take the experience wherever you find peace. Find the power bank HERE
